In 30 years, we have had the pleasure of documenting the construction progress of most of the iconic and unique buildings in the Silicon Valley, including the Google Domes. There are three amazing Google Domes between Moffett Field and the Googleplex, Google’s Corporate Headquarters, in Mountain View, CA. The largest dome is in this video and is closest to Googleplex. Did you know that the panels that make up the solar roofs are called Dragonscales? While under construction, the Dragonscale panels were covered with a protective white flexible material, which was removed just before completion.
