Pat Belanger is a former U.S. Air Force fighter pilot and experienced aerial photographer with a career spanning both military and commercial aviation. As an F-16 pilot, Pat developed the precision, discipline, and situational awareness that now define his work behind the camera—particularly in his specialty, air-to-air photography. In 1994, he and his wife founded The 111th Group Aerial Photography, combining his love of flight with a keen photographic eye to capture dynamic, high-impact imagery from the air for clients across a wide range of industries.
Our beloved airplane, a Cessna 182, has been a constant presence in our lives. My mother bought it brand new from the Cessna factory in 1969, and it’s remained in our family ever since—a symbol of our shared passion for flight.
